The Little Gym of Cambridge provides courses that are increasingly organised and a happy learning atmosphere to provide your kid the chance to attempt new things and gain confidence while grinning from ear to ear the entire time.
Before I founded The Little Gym Cambridge, I taught geography.
Despite the fact that I like teaching, I decided that I wasn't cut out for a sitting classroom environment.
Because of my involvement with the Duke of Edinburgh Award at my school, I was able to personally witness the advantages of extracurricular learning for kids.
My nieces go to The Little Gym Westfield, and my sister resides in London.
Since The Little Gym Cambridge's opening in 2013, it has welcomed almost 800 kids each week.
I'll never forget the expressions of wonder and apprehensive excitement on the parents' faces as they saw their children experience their equipment for the first time. I'll also never forget the smiles on my team's cheeks as they welcomed our first guests.
Thankfully, the parents assured us that we met or exceeded their high standards.
There are still many of the families that joined us in those early months.
They claim that their other family area is the gym.
Over the past three years, we have observed a huge increase in children's confidence in addition to their physical growth.
They have grown before our very eyes.
Their parents also claim to be able to distinguish a difference.
We are really happy to have contributed, however tiny a part, to the development of so many kids' self-confidence and life skills.
Furthermore, I can't truly call it work, nor can the team.
With the kids and each other, we laugh so much fun.
Watch out if you ever hear us remark, "I discovered a button in the gym."
It is our term for a spider.
Our crew occasionally forgets the code word since they are so preoccupied with taking care of the kids.
While the atmosphere is lighthearted at The Little Gym, our goals are serious.
Because of this, we follow a unique educational philosophy known as Three-Dimensional Learning, in which physical exercise serves as a vehicle for raising your kid as a whole.
Every course we provide promotes progress in three comprehensive aspects according to the Three-Dimensional Learning approach to skill development.
Life Skills, Brain Boost, and both!

He founded The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington, and brought the same upbeat, non-competitive attitude to those early courses that still permeates our organisation today.
Children now enjoy The Little Gym's Serious Fun in more than 400 sites across the world, forty years after it first opened.
