Our radiant Ramsgate nursery, otherwise known as The Grange, is perfectly equipped to encourage your childs learning and growth, in a beautiful, bright, and spacious environment.
Established in 2008, our nursery is conveniently situated on West Cliff Road, just a short stroll from Ramsgate town centre.
We are lucky to have a large, wonderful garden area in which the children love to explore and play, with a climbing frame, sand and water play, a planting area, a road for bikes and trikes, and a separate baby garden.
Our nursery also benefits from having four large, bright, and fun classrooms, catering to all ages and abilities, in which the children enjoy developing within, stimulating their imaginations and learning.
The children always enjoy taking part in fun and exciting activities and the nursery also offers a number of weekly classes.
All of our dedicated and friendly staff are committed to providing only the best care possible for your little one, partaking in regular training sessions to update and expand their knowledge.
As standard, every staff member is trained in paediatric first aid as well as food hygiene.
The nursery and staff team are now working towards achieving Outstanding in all areas.
Children are well prepared for their next stage in learning and develop the skills they need to be ready to start school.
My twin girls have been going to the Ramsgate nursery for 5 months and they love it.
Our Mini Seahorses benefit from a cosy, calm, and stimulating room on the first floor, with soft rugs and blankets to create a wonderful and safe environment for the babies to crawl around and explore.
Our Seahorses are located on the first floor, in a large room with a play frame, ball pit, and role play area, so they can play, explore, and develop their imaginations.
The classroom is located on the ground floor, next to the pre-schoolers room.
Our Dolphins and Seals rooms are made up of our oldest children who are preparing for primary school.
Each room has a Montessori area within the room where they can develop their mathematics and literacy skills.
I started work for Townsend Montessori in 2010 and was based at The Grange as Nursery Nurse which is where I gained my level 3 qualification.
I enjoyed working at The Grange and worked my way up from nursery nurse to room leader.
In 2019 I relocated to our Broadstairs Nursery, Port Regis as room leader of the 2's room and then was asked to become deputy manager.
I then moved back to The Grange as deputy manager and then was asked to become Manager.
I am extremely passionate about providing children with the best experiences in their early education and the importance of giving the best level of care that every parent would want for their child.
I have worked for Townsend Montessori Nurseries for seven years.
I began working at the Avenues Montessori after completing my degree in early childhood studies.
I progressed from Nursery Nurse to Senior Nursery Nurse, and then to Deputy Supervisor, Supervisor, Deputy Manager/Montessori Directress and now Assistant Manager of the Grange Montessori.
I have always been passionate about working in the early years sector and find it incredibly humbling and rewarding to be a part of the childrens early development.
I thoroughly enjoy working for Townsend Montessori as I feel valued and continually supported in my own personal development.
I have great appreciation for the Montessori method and how the ethos is embedded within the nurseries.
