The Beacon Day Nursery

On Maurice Street in Nelson, there is a private daycare centre called The Beacon Day Nursery. We are a term-time nursery offering children from the age of two to school age outstanding care and education. Depending on eligibility, we provide both funded and private childcare for children ages 2, 3, and 4.
Since opening in 2009, The Beacon Day Nursery has been offering daycare to the neighbourhood and surrounding area. We take pride in providing a true home-away-from-home environment where kids and parents may feel relaxed and at ease. Children get the chance to investigate a variety of real resources that pique their curiosity and inspire surprise and wonder.
Our personnel is professionally qualified and has extensive background working in the childcare industry. Additionally, we have an apprentice who is pursuing his level 3 certification. You can rest easy knowing that your child is in excellent hands because all staff members have received training in First Aid, Children's Mental Health, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene.
We are a completely inclusive daycare that takes pleasure in embracing and helping kids of all skills and needs.
