The Avenue Day Nursery

Our high quality Nursery provides a fun, safe and homely 'learning-through-play' environment in which our 'ducklings', 'bunnies' and 'butterflies' flourish, with support from a wonderful, experienced early years team.
The Nursery features a special "wonder room" where messy scientific experimentation and "growing things" are encouraged!
Our skilled, enthusiastic, and joyful early years team supports parents in nurturing and educating each child as they gain confidence and move closer to starting primary school. They are compassionate and professional.
We care very much that parents access the hours of care that they require, that we reflect the routines, interests and needs of each child, and that the whole family is able to be involved in the children's nursery experience.
Learning progress and achievements are communicated each week via our online Tapestry learning journey portal, and there are events for parents and families to participate in throughout the year, such as fundraising walks, stay and play, nativity, celebrations and sports days.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, all year round (except bank holidays), and are offer the Government Early Years entitlement, and '30 hours' childcare scheme.
Any day of the week, families are welcome to visit and see the nursery.
