The Ark has been in operation since April 20, 2004, and it is a limited company that is registered with Ofsted.
For additional information about becoming a Director, please get in touch with the administration manager.
The Ark is a nonprofit organisation that funds itself entirely. We aim to keep our fees to a minimal while yet generating enough revenue to pay our operating expenses.
Children between the ages of 4 and 11 can get before- and after-school care at The Ark Breakfast and After School Club (Reception to Year 6).
We welcome up to 70 kids at our after-school programme, which is open from 3:20 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Thursday, and until 5 pm, on Friday.
The club's goal is to give kids a calm, homelike setting that is safe and secure.
The group attempts to offer a variety of activities, including outdoor play, craft, board games, reading, pretend play, building, sport, and activities based on themes or the seasons.
The kids will be given a light food and drink while they are at the club and will be encouraged to engage in activities of their choice.
Children eat a wholesome breakfast during the breakfast session.
Children at The Ark can express their creativity through cutting and glueing, sketching, painting, and other methods.
Toast, cereal, yoghurt, and fruit are some of the wholesome options for breakfast at The Ark.
An administration manager, a breakfast leader, two Deputy play leaders, part-time play workers, and an after-school play leader are all employed by The Ark.
Staff members must continue their training and development despite having prior expertise.
We make sure there is one staff person for every eight kids under the age of eight that attend the club, and we hire more people as needed.
