We are a nonprofit that helps siblings, parents, and caregivers of individuals with any kind of special need, no matter how minor or severe, as well as the individuals themselves.
All children, teenagers, and adults with special needs, regardless of whether they have a physical or learning disability, a sensory impairment, behavioural difficulties, or autism, or regardless of whether they are socially disadvantaged or unable to use alternative mainstream provision, are welcome to use our specialised indoor and outdoor play, recreational, and learning facilities. We offer special support to our clients, their siblings, families, and caregivers, including advice and respite services.
Our Playground is a fantastic 2.5-acre site in Taplow, near Maidenhead, that is home to an OFSTED-registered daycare centre. It is open to children and adults with all kinds of special needs, their families, schools, care facilities, day centres, nurseries, playschemes, and other groups and associations that support those with special needs and their families.
With the help of a dedicated group of volunteers, we are managed by a voluntary Board of Trustees, with on-site care provided by 8 permanent and more than 20 sessional staff members.
All year long, people with special needs and their families are welcome to use the Playground. Booking is always necessary since we have a capacity limit to maintain a welcoming environment for everybody. Families with special needs children are asked to contribute $10 per child; parents and other caregivers, as well as siblings under two, are admitted free.
Every Saturday, we provide Playdays for All for accompanying children under 12 who don't have any special needs.

Families are welcome to visit TVAP no matter what their requirements are. Together, they can have fun and laugh. People are cherished and loved in this wonderful and fascinating location. I feel incredibly privileged to be involved with it.
