Welcoming you to Taxal and Fernilee Church of England Primary School makes me incredibly proud. I hope this website gives you all the details you require about our school and illustrates how our guiding principles guide all we do.
We will go "above and beyond" to offer your child a fantastic start in life if you decide to send them to Taxal and Fernilee. We provide a high calibre of education that gives our kids the skills they need for the next phase of their lives.
Even while our reading, writing, and math test scores frequently outperform the national average, we understand that education is about much more than just academic success. Strength, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Peace, and Tenacity are some of the basic qualities that are developed in our engaging enrichment curriculum. We also expose the kids to activities that deepen their comprehension of their surroundings and widen their awareness of different cultures.
All of the people at our school are kind and attentive to the needs of our students, and our teaching team has a wealth of expertise. Every child has a talent that we seek for, and we make sure that nobody is left out or behind.
Being a part of this school and seeing the kids' and staff's smiling, joyful faces every day is a joy. Every week brings with it brand-new experiences, and I hope that this website provides a taste of the numerous things that our kids get to do and chances they have while they stay with us.
