The basic British principles of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for people of all religions and beliefs must be promoted by all schools, the DfE has reaffirmed the need to establish and enforce such an expectation.
We have a student council that meets with the deputy head teacher on a regular basis to talk about concerns brought up in class council sessions.
Each student is elected to the student council by their class.
Children are also chosen to serve on the Learning Committee in KS2.
The value of laws is continually emphasised throughout ordinary school hours and during assemblies, whether the laws are those that govern the class, the school, or the nation.
School regulations are taught to students beginning at a young age.
Students are taught the importance of laws and rules, why they control and protect us, what it means to follow the law, and what happens when it is broken.
With the knowledge that they are in a secure and encouraging atmosphere at school, students are actively encouraged to make decisions.
We educate young students and set limits for them to make decisions securely as a school by offering a secure setting and powerful instruction.
Our principles are based on respect for one another.
Everyone in the school community is respectful of one another.

PSHE courses, religious education lessons, and assemblies reaffirm the need of tolerance and respect for others.
Members of all faiths and beliefs are urged to exchange information to improve instruction at the institution.
