From the St Philips Preschool
Over 30 years ago, St. Philip's began running a preschool out of the church hall for the benefit of the neighbourhood. We are a part of the Learning Alliance and are registered with OFSTED.
With three full-time employees, we have a high staff-to-child ratio that benefits both the children and the staff as a whole. We operate from a single spacious playroom and have access to a small covered outside area, which allows staff to observe and interact with all children. We offer access to the outdoors so the kids can play and learn in a safe setting with knowledgeable personnel on hand nearby to support their learning.
We maintain tight ties with the elementary schools that serve as our feeders, including St. Catherine's Catholic Primary School, which is conveniently located across the street from us. We are able to give the kids a smooth transition to big school thanks to this.
We would like to thank St Philips church for giving us with the facilities because without their assistance and backing, we would not be able to provide these chances.
This organisation expects all staff and volunteers to share its commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
