Springmead is a small school with a big ambition and bags of character. Our vision is simple: we ignite a passion for learning and life, and because of this, our pupils achieve excellent results. Every day, girls and boys enjoy exciting and engaging lessons as well as a wide range of enrichment activities.

Small class sizes, alongside academic and pastoral tracking across the school allow our pupils to be challenged and supported in equal measure.

The richness of our offering is matched by the quality of the pupils’ achievements. The children achieve wonderful academic results and move on to local, selective independent and state grammar schools, whilst also developing confidence, resilience and a wealth of skills.

From Nursery upwards, children enjoy a broad curriculum that features both indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. From sports, to performing arts, to Bushcraft outdoor pursuits, our extensive timetable has something for every child to find their passion. Our school motto of Carpe Diemmeans that we find, and make the most of, all the learning opportunities around us!
