Skidby Pre-School

We are proud to offer a very friendly and happy environment at Skidby Pre-School for all children to learn through play and activities.
Within Skidby C of E Primary School, we are a small setting with a separate, covered outdoor play space.
With the school and staff, we collaborate closely.
We advocate for playing while learning.
This enables the children to build on their confidence and to learn social skills, sharing, taking turns and making independent choices.
We pride ourselves on preparing all our children for a smooth transition into primary school.
All children who are new to Skidby Pre-School are invited to attend with their parents or carers before their start date.
All seven areas of learning from the Early Years Foundation Stage are taught and adhered to on a daily basis, either as a group activity or on a one-to-one basis.

Skidby Pre-School is Ofsted registered and at our last inspection in June 2015 we were rated GOOD in all areas.
