Shorncliffe Nursery

Shorncliffe Nursery was initially founded for the neighborhood's Gurkha community; today, we work closely with the military to provide childcare for military families and the local community.
In the Nursery, we have employees who can accommodate both ethnicities and languages.
The nursery takes great pride in its partnerships with the local community, which has a wide variety of nationalities now working here.
At Shorncliffe Nursery, we will collaborate with each family to provide the best possible child care in a setting that is secure, energising, and caring.
From the time they are two years old until they leave for school, we have kids.
The nursery is actively involved in the neighbourhood.
The nursery makes a monthly trip to the Marigold centre at AGE UK in Cheriton.
Each year in July, a few of the older kids visit Cheriton Primary School to assist them adjust to the change in schools.
Before their children enter school, we give home visits to families.
Since we are only in your home to converse and get to know your child and their parent/carers, we refer to these visits as "getting to know you" visits.
In order to make children feel at ease and content prior to joining us, the nursery also provides free play visits before they begin.
