Our spacious schoolhouse, which has been offering child care and education since 1896 and is conveniently located on the main Halifax road with views of the beautiful Shibden Valley, has been particularly designed and renovated to create a warm, homey, caring, and nurturing atmosphere for your kid.

We are OFSTED-approved, just like all other nurseries, but at Shibden Head we see this as a beginning point rather than a goal. All of our kid-friendly spaces are safe, confined, and equipped with everything they could possibly need. The kids can explore and learn about their surroundings in our wonderful outdoor play area and garden.
Children in our care can participate in our daily fun-filled schedule, which includes a wide range of play and learning opportunities, ensuring that your kid has the chance to develop abilities to their greatest potential.
There are three meals and two snacks given each day. Our cook makes and cooks all of the food in our nursery kitchen. The menus have been created to offer a balanced meal that is both healthful and nutrient-dense, and they will take unique dietary needs into account.
In order to provide the greatest care and lessen the traffic at the beginning and end of the day, Shibden Head services and facilities are built with harried working parents in mind.
