S4K Camp - St Mary's Catholic Primary School

At St. Mary's Catholic Primary School, where I am the headteacher, my name is Andrea Hymers. I am incredibly delighted to serve as the headteacher of this welcoming school where each student is challenged to "be the best they can be" and where their individuality is valued. Our Core Values—integrity, respect, nurturing, passion, and creativity—along with our Mission Statement, which reads, "St Mary's School is a secure and joyful place, where we follow Jesus by living, loving, learning, and working together,"—truly serve as the foundation for everything we say and do. We are a community of learners who are inspired by the Gospel Values and our religion. All who come to visit us comment on our welcoming and kind culture. We want every kid in our care to reach their full potential so that they excel not only academically but also in extracurricular activities like sports, social interactions, music, and the arts. Our goal is for every child to graduate from St. Mary's as an autonomous young adult who enjoys studying and life in general. All of our kids make us and St. Mary's School happy to be their parents, and vice versa. You can only get a very little taste of life at St. Mary's from our website.
