Russell Street Private Day Nursery

There are three playrooms and a designated outdoor play space in the nursery.
The nursery has operated from these premises as childcare provision for Bradford College since September 1991.
The childcare department at Bradford College ceased and the nursery closed in July 2011.
One of the original managers took the opportunity to re-open the nursery as a private enterprise.
Collectively the staff have over 60 years experience of childcare and most are mothers, grandmothers or aunties!.
Our aim is to provide at Russell Street nursery, a home from home for the children who attend.
The nursery is registered by Ofsted to take children from 3 months to 5 years.
The nursery will aim to develop each child taking into account the individual cultural differences and varying abilities of the child to ensure that all children feel included, secure and valued.
To give every child the opportunity to develop the skills required to realise their full potential.
To work with all children through the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
The nursery adheres to the governments Every Child Matters framework, which is an approach to the well being of children and young people from birth to age 19.
The governments aim is for every child whatever their background or their circumstances to have the support they need to achieve their potential in five outcomes which are to: -.Make a positive contribution be involved with the community and society and not engage in anti-social behaviour.
At Russell Street Nursery our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing family environment where children feel secure and valued.
Our unique nursery offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each childs growth.
