The basic British principles of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for people of all religions and beliefs must be promoted in all schools, according to the DfE, which has lately reaffirmed the need for doing so.
British values were defined by the government in the Prevent Strategy of 2011, and the Prime Minister has reaffirmed these values this year.
Children are given assistance at Rubery Nursery School in learning fundamental British Values like fairness and respect for others.

For all parties involved, Rubery Nursery School has a set of rules, policies, procedures, and routines.
Children are taught the importance of following rules and the reasons behind them, including that rules are in place to protect us, that everyone has a responsibility, and that breaking rules has repercussions.
Children are actively encouraged to make decisions at school because they know they are in a secure and encouraging atmosphere.
We educate young children and set limits for them to make decisions securely as a school by offering a secure atmosphere and quality instruction.
The knowledge, comprehension, and exercise of children's rights and freedoms are fostered.
Article 14: Every kid has the freedom to practise their religion and to think and believe as they like, as long as they do not interfere with the enjoyment of the rights of others.
Create a good rapport with the kids and their families by visiting them at home, keeping in touch every day, and attending family activities.
By taking part in a variety of festivals throughout the year, we hope to improve kids' knowledge of many religions and beliefs.
We urge parents and caregivers to engage in and support our multi-cultural activities, such as our celebrations of Chinese New Year, where children can dress up in costumes and sample cuisines from many countries.
