Roundswell Community Primary Academy

I'm pleased to announce that lessons at the new Roundswell school will start in the autumn of 2020. It will be a specially constructed building with contemporary amenities and room for both reception and nursery pupils. The school will steadily grow over the next six years as we accept more nursery and reception children each year. Every child at Roundswell Community Primary Academy is cherished and well-cared for. The school offers specialised resources for science, theatre, athletics, food technology, environmental education, and other areas that are frequently taught in secondary schools. To ensure that every student develops strong knowledge, skills, and comprehension throughout the courses as well as the highest standards for each student in the crucial subjects of mathematics and English, the curriculum is wide and includes project-based learning. More importantly, we want to give our children a secure, friendly environment at school so they may develop their self-assurance, resiliency, empathy, and manners. Since parents are crucial to your child's well-being and academic performance, the school will always work with them. The Tarka Learning Partnership, a neighbourhood Trust of eight schools, including the Park Community School, to which Roundswell Community Primary Academy will feed, has assisted in the development of this new school over the past four years while cooperating with the Department of Education and Devon County Council.
