Roman River Preschool

Roman River Pre-School is an Ofsted registered and inspected, committee run pre-school based in the rural village of Fingringhoe, close to Colchester.
Our Ofsted registration number is 402265.
We are based in the local village hall where we offer children an exceptional outdoor woodlands area as well as indoor activities and a classroom for those children starting primary school in the next academic year.
Roman River Pre-School offers quality pre-school education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for children aged 2 5 years.
The pre-school comprises of two rooms as well as a large outdoor woodlands area.
Roman River Pre-School is a committee run pre-school which enables parents to become involved in shaping the pre-schools future.
All the money raised is invested in equipment for the pre-school and has over the last few years enabled us to develop our amazing woodlands area with the addition of wooden play equipment, chalkboards, planters, reading corner, etc.
In order to continue to grow the pre-school and see it move from strength to strength, the committee are always looking for more members to bring fresh ideas to the table and share the work (the more members, the less work for each!)
