Rainbow Corner Kids Club

The daycare uses the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which outlines developmental phases in three broad categories and four narrow categories.
Children are evaluated according to their age and stage as defined by the EYFS framework after observations of them engaging in activities are made and documented in a learning log.
By doing this, we can make sure that every child is inspired to realise their maximum potential and we can see any growth areas that can benefit from some assistance.
The current owner's sister, Rosemary Hubbard, founded Rainbow Corner as a tiny daycare run out of her house.
The Kids Club was established in 2004 in response to the need for ongoing child care once children had begun attending school.
The daycare centre relocated to its current site in August 2017, which has allowed us to provide a roomy, engaging atmosphere for people of all ages.
We can conduct woodland experience sessions as part of our forest school programme thanks to a small area with trees and a gated forest school meadow with a wooden shelter.

We have a fantastic cook who works at the daycare who creates cakes or other delights frequently for tea in addition to preparing lunch every day.
We provide a mid-morning snack of toast for infants and toddlers or fruit for tweens and preschoolers, along with milk or water, a two-course home-cooked lunch, a mid-afternoon snack of fruit for everyone, and a two-course tea.
If they'd rather, parents can send a packed lunch or afternoon tea.
For a little additional fee, breakfast is an option for the morning kids club.
After school, a tea is served in a cafeteria and is free of charge. It consists of sandwiches, toast or crackers, a biscuit, and fruit.
A two-course prepared meal and the typical cafeteria tea are available during school breaks.
