Welcome to Queen Elizabeth's High School's webpage.
Children can grow and develop at QEHS into successful young adults who have the knowledge, skills, and credentials to pursue their goals and aspirations.
Education is more than just that, though, and at QEHS we offer a secure setting where children may develop and discover who they are, what interests them, and what they want to be when they grow up.
Every student is given a House when they start in Year 7 and stays in that House for the duration of their time in school.
At QEHS, we are proud of our history, but we also always look ahead and welcome improvements that will be good for our kids now and in the future.
Grammar school in the area, QEHS is happy to have taken the right decision to stick with the Local Authority.
We give local kids priority due to our oversubscription criteria.
At Queen Elizabeth's High School, we're dedicated to working as a team to make sure that every student has fun and succeeds in whatever they try.
Since learning is at the centre of our community's thinking, we encourage students to seize chances to increase their knowledge, proficiency, and understanding.
Because QEHS is a selective mixed Grammar School, it offers the greatest calibre of instruction to its top 25% of students.
Our students are a fantastic asset to us, and we discover that when they graduate from our programme, they are mature, well-rounded individuals who are motivated to pursue learning outside of the classroom and who can make valuable contributions to society.
