A qualified teacher with Early Years Professional Status and a deputy manager who also has Early Years Professional Status run the privately owned children's day nursery Puzzles Day Nursery.
With 32 spaces, we are one of the smaller nurseries in the Birmingham area.
Between Northfield and Longbridge, on the Bristol Road South, is where you'll find the nursery.
At Puzzles Day Nursery, we focus on fun and use a warm, inviting approach to provide children from 0 to 5 years old with top-notch childcare and education.
Our goal is to support your child's physical, social, intellectual, cultural, and emotional growth so that they are prepared to participate fully in school life on an emotional, moral, social, and educational level.
The daycare centre is set up to accommodate children of all ages and skills individually, but we also promote contact among them.
This, in our opinion, promotes the growth of all the kids.
A competent, seasoned teacher with a solid understanding of child development and the National Curriculum oversees all of the activities that the kids engage in during the day.
The task of planning the activities for the kids in their care then falls to the staff.
An assigned key worker plans each child's day.
Preschoolers participate in planning their own days, and by coordinating with other staff members, we are able to offer a continuity of approach for all children. This gives the kids a chance to feel safe and secure in their close relationship with their key worker while also building their confidence.
The entire team has access to training opportunities, and training is actively promoted.
Additionally, we have a staff member who has been designated and is qualified to work exclusively with special needs kids.
Last term, we used our pupil premium funds to build a covered patio and mud kitchen outside.
