Welcome to the website for The Priory School. We hope it will give readers a taste of school life, our standards, and our ethos. The school embraces tradition while also being forward-thinking and has a fascinating past. Not only do we pursue the important dimension of achieving the best results for each individual, regardless of their starting point, but we also believe strongly that education is about developing well-rounded individuals, who are ready, willing and able to make their contribution to society. Our demands for our pupils include hard work, active participation in school activities, and moral decision-making. These are stated in a way that encourages students to evaluate themselves in light of these standards and to serve as role models for one another. By doing this, we create an environment where our children may learn the importance of being selfless, confident, and successful. While we hope the website gives you a taste of life at the school, a visit should always come first. Our school has both serious intention and a sense of humour and at the heart of our ethos is a strong, positive working relationship between staff and students; only by visiting the school and meeting our young people is it really possible to gain a flavour and appreciation of our work together. Our boys and girls are the outcome of the school, and by meeting them, you will discover the breadth, depth, and hopefully a sense of both achievement and enjoyment that is vital to an excellent education.
