To achieve actual equality, nevertheless, it may be necessary to treat people differently. to provide every child in our care with a stimulating, loving, and secure environment. should adhere to the play-based Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. actively encourage young people to build positive self-images. to collaborate openly and honestly with parents and caregivers as partners. to provide parents and other agencies with knowledge, tools, and useful guidance. fostering equal opportunities so that each child is valued as an individual, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or special educational needs (including gifted children). to provide a welcoming environment for the youngster and the parent/carer. to assist staff members in their skill-building training courses. You might have seen Mr. Tumble use it on CBeebies. It promotes making eye contact, taking turns, making decisions, comprehending, and exchanging knowledge. The use of signs and gestures encourages and stimulates the development of speech. It has been demonstrated that it has the opposite effect and does not prevent your child from communicating. Children can communicate via sign language before they can speak. As a result, the irritability and tantrums that frequently happen in the second year of life are diminished (the terrible twos). Songs, nursery rhymes, and activities all make sign language entertaining. In bilingual families, Makaton signs can aid in bridging the linguistic divide.
