From the Portland Place School
Greetings from Portland Place.
Here at Portland Place, we think that the best way to encourage kids to become inquisitive, open-minded, and creative learners and achieve beyond the classroom is through exceptional teaching mixed with a cutting-edge curriculum inside and outside the classroom.
We think that what parents want is to know that their child is capable of the highest grades possible, whether that be a 9 or a 5.
After completing their GCSEs, our students consider a range of alternatives, including BTEC, foundation programmes, and apprenticeships in addition to A level courses.
Portland Place School focuses on providing the finest preparation possible for our students to follow any of these career options.
To enable a seamless transition for our students after they turn 16, the Alpha Plus Group partners with DLD College. However, we completely support our students' transition from Portland Place to any course and college.
Please do come and see us; you will be made to feel very welcome. If you want a school that can produce excellent results while allowing students to enjoy themselves; if you want a school that truly knows, cares about, and respects your child as an individual and not just a statistic; if you want a school that believes you need more than classroom activities to stimulate a young mind; then please do come and see us.
Previously, South Hampstead High School GDST's Deputy Head Academic was David Bradbury.
