Playwell Pre School

In order to enhance early years education, a group of parents from Eltham Park Baptist Church started gathering in the spacious church facility in 1973. With assistance from the Baptist Union, the Playwell Preschool had been properly established by 1979. In 1982, it was registered with the Charity Commissioners. It is currently a well-known preschool that both local parents and kids enjoy attending. We are nondenominational even though our headquarters are at Eltham Park Baptist Church.

We are registered to care for 25 children in the afternoon with 5 staff members, and 35 children in the morning with 6 staff members. Our accommodations include a quiet room, a creative room, a huge hall, and a safe outside play space.
Pre-School Learning Alliance (PLA), a nationwide organisation that connects pre-schools across the nation, includes Playwell as a member. Staff members gather for regular meetings at the Greenwich branch. Additionally, we maintain tight ties with our child development officer from Greenwich Children's Services and welcome visits from advising teachers.
