Pippins Pre-School

For more than 20 years, Pippins Pre-School has offered education through play to children aged 2 1/2 to 5 from East Markham and the nearby towns. Pippins Pre-School is an independently owned, charity organisation with a location in the community room at East Markham Primary School.
The key worker assigned to your child will collaborate with you and your child to support their development in accordance with the EYFS curriculum.
Additionally, we have a very adaptable indoor/outdoor room with removable windows that may function as an outdoor area while providing excellent protection from all weather.
We always have independent usage of this space because it is gated off from the primary school.
Additionally, it gives us the chance to interact with primary school students while they are playing, which is particularly well-liked by their younger siblings and students who have transferred to the primary school.
The Primary School has been very helpful in allowing us to use their play area, which has a slide and climbing and balance equipment, as well as their asphalt play area for bikes or games, a large field (ideal for sports day), and AstroTurf, for ball games.
Every location undergoes numerous daily health and safety inspections.
We make a lot of effort to make sure that every kid is cared for in a secure, joyful setting.
To verify their fitness for working with children, all staff members undergo DBS checks, and they are all trained in the most recent safeguarding requirements.
Along with our extensive Safeguarding Policy, they also go through a thorough interview and induction period to make sure they are qualified to work at Pippins.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is used in Pippins.
The EYFS is the legal framework that establishes the requirements that early childhood education providers must follow to guarantee that kids learn and develop effectively and are kept healthy and safe.
