In September 2014, the most recent SEND Code of Practice went into effect (see below).
The following details are provided below in accordance with the procedure described in this code: our SEND policy and our SEND Information Report (answering lots of FAQ).

The Wiltshire Council has also created materials to assist parents.
As a provision of the new Code of Practice, this is a legal requirement.

All complaints will be handled in confidence, however if a staff member feels that the issue has to be pursued or might come up again later, they may need to make notes.
The Data Protection Act of 1998's guiding principles will be followed in the storage of any such notes.
However, if more inquiry was necessary or if the issue evolved into a formal complaint, such notes may be used as proof.
