The Petham village hall, which was established in September 2005 and is located 4 miles south of Canterbury, is a popular gathering place. The hall has received the Hallmark III certification for its facilities and management, and is only a few metres from the charming country church of All Saints with a view of the surrounding rolling countryside.
It is possible to book different arts companies, attend concerts, jazz suppers, and watch performances of theatre, singing, dance, and other performing arts. The use of stage lighting, a removable stage, an audio system, and a projector allows performers to improve their performances.
Regular meetings of several activity groups, which are listed on the What's On website, take place in the hall.
We provide everything you need if you're seeking for a place to organise a conference or training session. Up to 150 people can be seated theater-style in two rooms that can be combined into one huge space. The venue provides Wi-Fi internet connection, a PA system, and an overhead projector. For small groups or committee meetings, there is a separate room with conference tables and an overhead projector.
Whether the wedding couple chooses to get married in the All Saints Church or somewhere else, Petham is a particularly lovely location for the reception. The hall is equipped with everything needed to make the reception unforgettable, including a fully equipped kitchen with capacity for 130 guests for self-catering or outside caterers.
Whether for performances, weddings, conferences, courses, celebrations, etc., the hire costs are quite reasonable. Every day of the week and on weekends throughout the year, slots are available for recurring or one-time appointments.
