Once a setting has been selected, we plan transition with the family and the setting including visits and meetings.
This ensures a smooth transition and eases anxieties for families.
To fully utilise the skills of our staff and volunteers supporting families in all areas.
To adhere to the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice, which sets out guidance and procedures aimed at ensuring children reach their full potential, and are fully included in the centre.
To deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which aims to ensure every child gets the best possible start in life and support that enables them to fulfil their potential.
The four overreaching principles of the EYFS are unique child, positive relationships, enabling environments and learning and development.
