Peg Activities - Fairfield Infant School

An average of 350 kids between the ages of 7 and 11 are educated at Colneis. There are 358 students enrolled at the moment (correct as of March 2022).
Our school, which was constructed in the 1960s, offers housing for students in year groups that can be accessible from the main hall. A multi-use games area, a playing field, and a wildlife habitat are among the outdoor amenities (MUGA). Our heated, covered swimming pool, where all of the kids swim every week, is another thing we are very proud of.
Colneis has earned a reputation for offering a welcoming environment and a caring approach. We provide our students with a comprehensive and innovative curriculum designed to excite and drive them while also addressing their social and emotional needs. We offer a variety of extracurricular possibilities and are renowned for our athletic accomplishments.
We have the honour of working with parents to provide for the education of their children. We strongly urge parents to work with us as our students' partners in learning. All issues involving your child are welcome to be discussed with you by teachers, the pastoral staff, and senior leaders. There are chances for parents to volunteer in the classroom, and our active volunteer support group, the Friends of Fairfield and Colneis, plans social and fundraising activities all year long.
Colneis is a member of the Felixstowe Pyramid, a collection of educational institutions. Most students transfer to Felixstowe School at the start of Y7. The majority of students transfer to Colneis at the start of Y3 from Fairfield Infant, one of our Federated partner schools. Since the schools share a senior management staff and even though they are different for admissions purposes, the transition from Fairfield to Colneis goes quite well.
