Oundle Community Pre-School

Children between the ages of 2 and 4 may start learning in a kind and engaging environment at the Oundle Community Pre-School.
Every weekday throughout the academic year, we are open from 9.15 am to 12.15 pm, with a daily lunch club that runs until 12.45 pm. We also now offer extended hours until 3.15 pm on some days.
We have great connections with neighbourhood child-minders who can pick up kids and watch them during the other afternoons in order to meet the demands of working parents.
In order to guide their play and learning and to build confidence in advance of primary school, children benefit from having freedom to travel between various locations in the main room, the kitchen, and the playground.
Our loving and committed staff members serve as mentors, encouraging learning by creating activities based on the interests of the children and participating in them alongside them.
Each child is assigned a key worker to make sure they are supported while in our care, and we work closely with parents to make sure their children learn and flourish while in our care.
Our safe, confidential online reporting system, TAPESTRY, enables parents to view their child's pre-school activities.
The pre-school has received a "good" rating from Ofsted, indicating that they are aware of the calibre of our work.
Since 1963, our pre-school has been at the centre of our neighbourhood (making it one of the oldest in the country).
We thrive off of parents' engagement, and help with our fundraising efforts is always very appreciated.
