On the first floor, our baby and toddler unit is entirely devoted to providing high-quality care for infants from three months old to three years old.
Depending on their age and developmental stage, our infants and toddlers are housed in separate rooms.
Up until they are walking and stable on their feet, newborns should stay in the Buttercups area.
For the kids, there are little play and rest spaces built up.
We make sure that every child has access to all 7 EYFS areas, with a particular focus on the three primary areas.
There are several play areas, including an art and craft table, a soft play area for more active play, and a home corner where the young children begin role-playing by imitating what they see adults doing on a daily basis, such as feeding babies, changing diapers, putting babies to bed, or preparing lunch or dinner.
Our Buttercups and Daisies areas are linked by a wall with a gate that can be left open to allow the two areas to be combined for activities.
The children are prepared for a new stage in their growth, thus this unit is a little more regimented than the infant room.
We advocate for all 7 EYFS domains.
Role play, messy play, creativity, music and dance, story and song time, sensory play, early reading and mathematics abilities, and regular outdoor play are all examples of such activities.
The staff team supports the kids as they explore a range of activities in order to improve their learning, growth, and advancement.
Our base area is vast and open, and it was created to inspire and stimulate our 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year olds.
Every day, the kids enjoy unrestricted access to the outdoor space.
Small groups of kids can engage in targeted activities throughout the day in our sensory room and discovery room.
All seven EYFS learning environments are designed to accommodate both child-initiated play and a variety of adult-led activities.
Children aged three and a half to five are the target audience for the Sunflower/preschool class.
The children have free access to the outdoor space, and daily activities are carefully organised to incorporate all 7 EYFS categories.
Both the sensory room and the discovery room are utilised for targeted activities like taste games and other games, with the discovery room being used for ICT or research.
To help them get ready for school, children receive support as they develop their decision-making and independence abilities.
We collaborate closely with the local public, parochial, and private schools as we help the kids get ready for a smooth transition from preschool to elementary school.
Additionally, all seven EYFS areas are supported by our spacious outdoor space.
In addition to targeted activities, the garden hosts group games, music, and movement.
The outdoor space serves as an outdoor classroom in our eyes.
Every child has access to the garden all day and can play there securely any time of year.
This space is available to all of our kids to encourage tranquil, enlightening, and enchanting experiences that awaken each of their five senses.
the perfect space for study, design, and creation.
