We are a small, family-run company that provides high-quality nursery day care for kids from about 3 months old to reception.
With a passionate, eager, and committed staff, Noah's Ark provides a fun, secure place for your child to start their journey.
In addition to exceeding the minimum qualifications set by Ofsted by 50%, all of our room staff members also undergo an enhanced DBS (the new name for a CRB) check.
The long hours of teaching and marking began to affect my capacity to watch my own son grow after the birth of my wonderful son Noah in June 2012.
A day nursery seemed like a good way to use my family's passions to provide not only a wonderful journey for my own son but the children of many, which in an odd circle of life brought me right back to why I w ent into early childhood education in the first place. Three members of my immediate family are involved in early years, one of whom is an Ofsted inspector for early years providers, and there are a total of five members of my family who are heavily involved in education and the welfare of children.
Word of mouth has been the only type of promotion or advertising we've needed since establishing Noah's Ark in September 2013.
What more could a nursery owner want for than two straight Good ratings from Ofsted, countless glowing letters of recommendation from parents and caregivers, and even happier, more communicative, well-rounded, and school-ready children?
At Noah's Ark, we count ourselves fortunate to live in a rural setting with all the elements necessary to foster an awareness of the EYFS through learning and outdoor play.

I have worked with young children for eleven years in a variety of early years settings and schools.
Since then, I have worked as a teacher in either Reception or Year 1.
I also collaborated closely with the school's on-site daycare.
For me, providing care for children and teaching them is not a job; it is a way of life. Everywhere I travel, I look for ideas to bring into the classroom that would encourage children to play and learn through the outdoors.
I think it's important to play to each child's strengths and present them with challenges to deepen their learning as individuals and give them the tools they need to be lifelong learners.
