Newman Pre-school Playgroup

A registered charity called Newman Pre-School Playgroup is located in Orpington's Crofton Halls Meeting Room.
We are licenced by Ofsted to provide early years care and learning for kids in a group of no more than 30 each day, from the age of two years and six months to school age.
In 2018, Ofsted inspected us and gave us a Good rating, which is comparable with ratings from inspections in 2011 and 2015.
We follow the Early Years Alliance's 2013 Model Pre-School Constitution and are members of that organisation.

Our Key Person method assigns each staff member specific duties for a small number of children.
The role of the key person is to adapt the curriculum to meet the particular needs of each child. They also collaborate with parents to make sure that all kids are given the assistance they need to realise their full potential.
