Newbottle and Charlton Pre-School

The community of Charlton has been home to the 1967-founded Charlton Pre-school for the past 50 years.
Children in the neighbourhood between the ages of 18 months and five years are cared for educationally at the Playgroup.
We belong to the Pre-School Learning Alliance and are recognised as a charitable organisation.
We undergo routine Ofsted inspections to make sure we uphold the necessary National Standards so we may qualify for Nursery Education Funding for our three and four year olds.
As a charity, we are managed by a committee of volunteer trustees who decide how the pre-school is operated and who also support and help the staff with day-to-day operations.
The preschool's main goal is to give children under the legal school age high-quality care and instruction.
There are now 6 competent employees working for the company.
