My First Friends Nursery

Our community-based childcare, My First Friends Nursery, is located across the field from Westdene Primary School. We accept kids up to the age of five. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm, we are open. We are open 50 weeks a year and only take two weeks off for holidays and Christmas.
We are a registered nursery in Westdene, Brighton, that is non-profit and charitable. All kids are invited, including those from disadvantaged households and the larger community. Our family-run My First Friends Nursery has been operating since March 19th, 1969.
We provide facilities for both financed and unfunded children. Everyday, a third-party food delivery service brings the kids fresh meals. We participate in the Fare Share Food Cloud programme at My First Friends Nursery, which gives unused food to the facility. You will receive a Blossom Educational account when your kid first enrols in the nursery. This account is an online learning log that displays your child's progress there. You will also receive termly progress reports to monitor your child's development while at the nursery.
The high teacher to child ratio at My First Friends Nursery allows us to go throughout the neighbourhood and beyond. With the Victoria Nursing Home, which is between Dyke Road and the British Airways i360, the kids have formed a special bond. The nursery has been given a Henry Hoover to try out as part of its role as brand ambassadors for Henry Hoover.
