At Mulberry Corner, we think that daycare should be customised to each child's requirements. We reject the idea that there is a single best strategy.
At Mulberry Corner, a focus on play-based learning is emphasised. All of the Early Years Foundation Stage criteria are met by our play-based curriculum. Our goal is to give every child the chance to grow in all areas of learning in a well-run, joyful atmosphere with demanding but doable work. Daily chances are provided for the children in our care to learn about nature, participate in musical movement, group singing, and story-telling, and they are urged to use both their creativity and imagination as well as their problem-solving abilities.
The nursery team in Chandlers Ford aims to develop warm bonds with each child, giving them a sense of security and appreciation. We watch each child at play in order to get a sense of their distinct personalities and design fun and interesting activities for them.
John Warren, our director, is a well-known authority on the early years. John has a master's degree in early childhood education, and Nursery Management Today named him one of the Top Ten childcare influencers in both 2019 and 2016. The nursery in Chandlers Ford benefits from John's 30 years of experience in the industry. At Mulberry Corner, his inspiration and inventiveness will continue to be felt.
The Mulberry Corner Nursery's students range in age from 0 to 3 years old.
Children are served by The Pips, our preschool programme, from the term following their third birthday until they begin kindergarten.
