Our mission at The Children's Room is to help every kid reach their full potential.
We achieve this by building our educational strategy around a thorough understanding of how the brain develops throughout the crucial first five years of life.
Along with this, we foster a culture of kindness for kids, families, and the indispensable staff members of our nursery.
We have developed a solid set of values. We aim to reflect this in how we live and work and in the characteristics we hope to cultivate in the children in our care.
Our manager, Louise, has been in charge of the nursery's staff for the past 20 years. Despite having Level 6 Early Years Professional Status and extensive experience, she is constantly learning new things. Louise has a strong commitment to the early childhood field. She enjoys the difficulties and benefits of the nursery environment. She enjoys watching kids interact and have fun.
Our curriculum is centred on the seven areas of learning and is in line with the new EYFS Framework.
The three main aspects are physical development, communication and language development, and social and emotional development.
Along with the four secondary subjects of mathematics, reading, understanding the outside world, and creative expression.
