Meadows Montessori

The Saffron Walden area's Meadows Montessori is a well-known and well acclaimed nursery school that has been in operation for more than 25 years. We provide sessional and full-day childcare for kids between the ages of 2 and 5. The Katherine Semar Infant School's premises contain the nursery. We work in a unit that was developed with a specific goal in mind—to give kids the best possible learning environment. The Nursery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is closed on holidays and throughout the Christmas season. Children between the ages of 2 and 5 are cared for and educated in the nursery. Parents can select between full and sessional hours to attend classes that best suit their needs. Meadows' primary goal is to offer a secure, nurturing atmosphere that satisfies the needs of the increasing number of parents who recognise and understand the need of quality child care. Our main goal is to instil self-confidence in our kids since that will ensure that they have a valuable place in society. In 1907, Maria Montessori established the first Montessori school, utilising tools and strategies she had created and developed through her research and practise in child psychology. In addition to implementing the Montessori teaching methodology, we also draw on the work of other child theorists and the Early Years Foundation Stage to offer all of the children in our care a rich and well-rounded curriculum.
