MATREC Manor Training and Resource Centre

An organisation for training in the volunteer sector is called Manor Training & Resource Centre (MaTReC). It is a charitable company limited by guarantee, according to the law.
Since its founding in 1987, the organization's main goal has been to empower the neighbourhood by providing low-cost training that will provide participants the skills they need to start or advance in the workforce.
Manor Employment Project (MEP), which started in 1979, grew into Manor Training & Resource Centre Ltd. (MaTReC). The MEP project was established to offer space for modest local businesses.
The importance of training had grown by the middle of the 1980s, and MaTReC was founded in April 1987 with the specific purpose of giving locals the chance to earn credentials. We currently provide training to everyone in Sheffield and the neighbouring areas.
MaTReC's primary location was built with labour from nearby shops. Richard Caborn, a member of parliament, opened it in 1989.
