Lordsmead Pre-School Playgroup

A committee of parents oversees Lordsmead Pre-School, a community pre-school that was founded in 1976. We are a legitimate, autonomous, non-profit organisation. We have access to a sizable playroom, a registration/singing room, and a school preparation room because we are located on the grounds of St. Peter's Church. We are well-equipped, and we also offer a safe outside play area that is accessible all year. We are Pre-School Learning Alliance members, licenced Social Services providers, and regularly inspected by Ofsted. Improve the education and development of kids in a neighbourhood preschool. Work within a structure that provides chances for all kids and families. Every youngster in the group is encouraged to reach their potential at their own rate of development. We provide a variety of activities through suitable play activities and a high level of individualised adult input. The majority, if not all, of the nationally recognised Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is connected to some or all of our programmes and activities. In discussions with the key worker for your child, you will discover additional information about these. We have a School Preparation Group since March 2004. Age groups are offered spots in that order. The group complements the Main Room but does not take its place. Activities include developing the independence and confidence needed to start school.
