Little Stars Nursery

We are a specially designed nursery with room for 16 kids between the ages of 1 and 5 years. Deborah (Debbie) Lunt, a licenced nursery nurse with years of experience dealing with children of all ages—most recently operating a successful childminding business in Redruth—manages Little Stars Nursery. At Little Stars, every employee is properly qualified, has a current DBS check, and has received paediatric first aid training. We support the children's learning and development by adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a legal framework for early childhood establishments that promotes growth and learning from birth to age five. The framework makes sure that all children are included and that they have access to a variety of play activities and learning tools. We are able to ensure that each child's unique requirements are satisfied and that children can advance through the development matters part of the EYFS by observing and evaluating the kids. Debbie set out to "bridge the gap" between large chain nurseries and in-home childcare when she founded the facility. With this in mind, Little Stars was designed to be a small, cosy environment where kids may get used to the regularity of nursery life while receiving complete assistance from highly qualified professionals. Children who have never been separated from their parents have settled in remarkably well after using this strategy, according to our research. We have a high staff to kid ratio, and each member of the team is familiar with each child.
