Little Rainbow Nursery

We appreciate your interest in our nursery and your time spent on our website.
However, we humbly invite any parent or caretaker to visit our nursery as we believe that a great nursery is made up of both staff and children.
Little Rainbow Nursery is licenced by OFSTED to care for children between the ages of 2 and 5 and is registered with Wakefield Council.
Little Rainbow Nursery was created to be a cosy, welcoming, and joyful nursery.
This principle governs how we treat every child, parent, caretaker, and staff member, regardless of their role, identity, or situation as we work to embrace the variety that we are fortunate to have in our larger community.
Every member of our community has a right to feel confident in their position and aware of what is expected of them in order to grow to the fullest extent of their abilities and make every effort to advance the nursery as a whole.
We understand that establishing close, professional connections with one another will enable us to all strive toward the shared objective of assisting the children in becoming successful, joyful, and loving young adults.
Children should feel loved and appreciated for who they are as unique beings with needs that are unique and qualities that they can share with others.
We can meet children's developmental needs, including the requirement to allow for advancement without excessive pressure, by considering childhood as a separate entity.
Children and adults alike have a right to have their thoughts heard and respected, and they also have a duty to recognise that others may have differing viewpoints.

Mathematics - Children have access to sand, construction and water play, which helps them learn important mathematical concepts about shape and space, measure, problem solving, numbers and sorting, in a very relaxed and fun way.
Role-playing activities are another way to encourage children's imaginations.
Physical development - Little Rainbow understands the value of both indoor and outdoor physical play.
Personal and social growth - Little Rainbow fosters a safe and secure atmosphere for kids so they can grow in confidence and in their sense of self-worth.
Children are urged to develop their independence, decision-making abilities, and social skills.
Communication and Language - Children begin to developed their communication skills from birth and here at Little Rainbow Nursery we ensure children are supported and given the correct tools to become effective communicators.
