For each kid, the optimal early years experience is a partnership between the family, the nursery, and the local community, according to Little Oaks, which holds that learning begins at home.
We want to impact Leatherhead as a member of the neighbourhood.
Our children's learning and development are tracked at Little Oaks using an online learning journey called Eylog.
Parents can view their children's observations, photos, and videos on Eylog as they happen.
We make sure that all of our kids participate in a variety of useful and educational activities to give them access to varied and well-directed early learning opportunities that are both child- and adult-led.
Little Oaks' curriculum adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which emphasises play-based learning.
Since we are aware that every kid develops at their own rate, we carefully track each child's progress and adjust the curriculum as necessary.
Each child learns best when their unique interests and needs are prioritised, and when there is a close bond between parents, caregivers, and other important figures.
Children can become resilient and autonomous with the help of supportive connections and role models.
The statutory framework specifies the early childhood education programme and care requirements for all children, including those with special needs and disabilities (SEN).
The main office can provide you with copies of all Little Oaks policies and procedures upon request.
We provide the following extracurricular activities that are connected to the curriculum in order to increase our students' opportunities for learning and creativity.
