Little Learners Day Nursery

The student body is broad, with needs ranging from those working toward level 3 occupational certifications to those with severe learning difficulties who require ongoing one-on-one help.
The college has all the vocational resources that a traditional institution would have (hair salon, garage, sports centre, joinery workshops etc).
However, because of our small class sizes and excellent pastoral, therapeutic, and communicative assistance, we can give young people who can't attend a traditional college the chance to enrol in the courses they want.
Many of the students at CSCD report that their communication and social requirements are their biggest obstacle to learning.
By providing opportunities for students to fully develop their skills in a setting that is very supportive of comprehensive communication, the holistic timetable enables students to recognise their wants, needs, and aspirations.
Through internal education, all employees continue to strive to reach level 2 or 3 in British Sign language.
All Deaf students have access to a Teacher of the Deaf on-site who collaborates with expert vocational tutors to ensure that the content is delivered at the appropriate level and supports them with ways to reduce learning barriers.
All students have access to onsite nurses, audiologists, occupational therapists, counsellors, speech and language therapists, smILE therapy, rebound therapy, and CAMHS.
The goal of this specialist treatment team's collaboration with the faculty is to maximise each student's potential for success in their desired outcomes in life, living, and employment.
Students can choose from three tracks in our curriculum: life, living, and work.
