Little Cherubs

As a small, family-run nursery, everything we do is always centred on the welfare and care of the children.
Little Cherubs started its first nursery in Sydenham in January 2000. As the nursery grew and became successful, we decided to expand, so we looked for suitable space in the Bromley neighbourhood of Shortlands.
In order to promote children's learning, our nursery setting places a strong emphasis on fostering children's developing independence and decision-making.
At Little Cherubs, one of our guiding beliefs is that children's potential is best developed through "Active Learning" and Learning through Play.
Our entire staff is aware of the value of providing children with a safe space to play in order for them to grow in their social skills and appreciation for all facets of the multicultural culture in which we live.
Provide the staff team with opportunities for advancement and skill acquisition.
Little Cherubs has developed a library system that will give parents the resources they need to begin a collaboration between a child's home and the nursery learning environment.
Our system encourages interaction so that parents and kids can concentrate on spreading aspects of British values.
Children can assume ownership of and responsibility for their own Little Cherubs library card as well as books, multimedia, and other materials.
Additionally, parents have access to our online library system and can get books and home study materials from it.
These are prepared for your child to take home at the conclusion of the day.
If your child or your family cannot attend for any reason, we can also provide a click-and-collect service.
Meetings of the Friends of Little Cherubs are held virtually two to three times a year with our management team as a part of our collaboration with parents and to maintain the family atmosphere.
It is the perfect chance for parents/caregivers, staff, and other nursery stakeholders to interact casually and discuss upcoming events, hot topics, and any updates on child development.
Parents should take advantage of this opportunity to get to know the staff and other families while exchanging thoughts and experiences.
Throughout the lockdown, Little Cherubs makes an effort to give all parents the most recent information on a variety of subjects.
Workshops, webinars, and conversations with numerous early years professionals from various industries will be available to parents.
We think that doing this will make it easier for all of the Little Cherubs families to stay in touch and feel like we are all working together to give our kids the exceptional care they deserve.
