The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 section 26's Prevent duty law, which was introduced in July 2015, gives early childhood educators new responsibility for guarding against children being radicalised and pulled into terrorism.
We urge kids to understand their place in the wider picture, to recognise that their opinions matter, to respect one another's opinions and beliefs, and to communicate about their feelings, such as whether they need help or not.
Demonstrate democracy in action when appropriate by having kids raise their hands to share their opinions on the topic of their role-playing area.
By providing activities that require taking turns, sharing, and teamwork, we encourage decision-making.
Children are given the chance to cultivate inquisitive minds in an environment that values them.
Respect for others and tolerance Give to people what you would like to receive (PSED and UW).
Our attitude is founded on the knowledge that every kid is unique, developing at a different rate and with unique requirements.
We put a lot of effort into forging bonds with each of our various families.

Children are encouraged to respect and value not only their own culture but also that of others, to be aware of the similarities and differences between themselves and other people as well as between families, communities, religions, cultures, and traditions, and to share and talk about customs, holidays, and experiences.
We promote diverse attitudes and challenge stereotypes, for example, sharing stories that reflect and value the diversity of childrens experiences and providing resources and activities that challenge gender, cultural and racial stereotyping.
Children are given the chance to grow in self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence in their own talents, for instance by letting them take chances on an obstacle course, mix colours, or talk about their experiences and what they've learned.
We value each child's unique interests and take them into consideration while making plans.
We offer and encourage a range of experiences that allow children to explore the language of feelings and responsibility, reflect on their differences and understand we are free to have different opinions.
We require all children to adhere to our basic nursery rules, such as using gentle hands, and we support them in understanding the behaviour and effects of their own and others' actions as well as the difference between right and wrong.
Through conversation and role modelling, we explain to kids why it's important to follow simple rules, such as doing things safely and fairly.
Our rules and procedures ensure that we are consistent and that all staff members and parents are aware of our expectations.
