Lake Street Nursery And Pre-School

Hello! We are a small, loving daycare and preschool for children ages 2-4. Since 1969, we've been in the middle of Hinksey Park (formerly Lake Street Playgroup). We are passionate about play-based learning. Young children thrive when given the freedom to play independently and creatively while being watched over by responsible, encouraging, and trusted adults. We are aware that by prioritising young children's social and emotional needs and giving them opportunities for encouraging natural learning, we are preparing them for a lifetime of success. We are a registered charity managed by parents in the area for families in the area. We are not a franchise or chain, nor are we directly financed by the Local Education Authority or the Council. All of our playthings, furnishings, supplies, and maintenance are funded entirely through fundraising efforts and kind donations.
