Kittens Pre-School

We are located in the Earcroft neighbourhood of Darwen, Lancashire, close to Motorway Junction 4 and the A666 (M65). Children from 3 to 5 years old are catered to at Kittens Preschool. Our facility is a lottery-funded, purpose-built nursery with an open floor layout, all on one level, and zoned sections for storytime, sensory play, role-playing, and an interactive whiteboard. As we operate an open door system where the garden is available for play all day, the children have direct access to a secure, safe, and entertaining garden that includes a water arena and an outdoor school. Our 1989 establishment is open Monday through Friday, only during academic terms, from 8 am to 5 pm. The first 15 or 30 hours per week are provided without charge by Kittens, a non-profit preschool, in accordance with the terms and circumstances set forth by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. Our team consists of 7 highly qualified employees, and we take pride in the fact that we have a very low staff turnover rate. Your child's wellbeing and safety are of the utmost importance. Our compliance with OFSTED's welfare standards is sternly enforced.
