From the Kirkstone House School
Welcome to the website for Kirkstone House School. In the village of Baston, on the boundary of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, sits Kirkstone House, a small, coed independent school serving students from the ages of 3 to 18. As Headmistress, I am incredibly pleased of the school's accomplishments in both academics and the wide range of extracurricular activities that students participate in. We are a totally inclusive school that welcomes students of all abilities, and the key to our success is that we give everyone the chance to realise both their academic and personal potential. Our goal statement, "The Individual Counts," reminds us to keep the individual at the centre of all we do. To do this, we provide our students with specially personalised educational experiences and we are not a "one size fits all" school. We are aware that happy, driven students who have high self-esteem and care about both themselves and one another are what make a school successful. The sections that follow will provide you with an overview of a Kirkstone House education, but a visit is still recommended. We always appreciate having visitors stop by during the working day, and I hope to meet you.
